Who we are

When GI Energy was established in 2001, we set out to deliver best-in-class, ground source and air source heat pump solutions.

Today, we design, engineer, install and maintain leading edge innovative renewable heating and cooling systems and are the UK’s leading large-scale heat pump provider. Our blend of skills & experience allows us to deliver tailored solutions via a diverse technology portfolio. Our expertise in proactive, remote access controls enables clients to get the best performance from their systems.

A results-driven approach underpinned by flexible funding and servicing options meanwhile have enabled us to work in partnership with blue chip clients including Sainsbury’s, CrossRail and Skanska.

What information we collect, what purpose we collect it for and for how long

The only information we collect from our website visitors is that filled in our “Contact Us” section.

If your query relates to a possible vacancy and you would like us to store your details in the event a vacancy might arise in the future, please state this in your message, otherwise your details will be removed from our database if no suitable role is available.

If your query relates to a prospective project or collaboration we will only keep the contact details required to ensure effective communication during business transactions. Your details will remain on our systems as long as you are our client or for as long as there is a contractual need. Your details may be shared with our subcontractors on a need-to-know basis. We will not use your details for any marketing communications.

The only cookies used by our website are those set by Google Analytics for statistical purposes and your details are only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

Security

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.

Access to your personal information

Under GDPR, you are entitled to access and amend any personal data the Data Controller holds. GI Energy will provide all the required information within 30 days from the date when the request was made. To make a request ion writing, please use above contact details for our Data Protection Officer.

Changes to our privacy notice

This document will be reviewed annually on 25th of May and may be updated from time to time and the latest version will always appear on our website.
